(Denali) "Great One"
Mt. McKinley (Denali) Great One! At 20,320 feet it is the highest mountain in North America. Most people do not get to see this because on most days it has cloud cover completely. I was lucky and quickly got this picture out of the railroad car window as we were passing by it off in the distance. It is in the middle of this picture sticking out above the gray clouds. I saw it on my 2002 trip, but not in 2004 because it was too rainy that trip. This was July and the top of the mountain was heavily snow-capped for several thousand feet.
